Behavior & Conduct

Students who display unacceptable or disruptive behavior during class will receive a warning. If behavior issues persist, we will have an additional conversation with the parent or guardian. we understand that some students need extra patience and care, and we will make adjustments in our approach by working with parents and guardians. Ultimately, if the behavior is creating an unacceptable environment for other students and our team, the art studio may decline accepting the student into further classes. Our goal is to create a welcoming space for all students and we will always try to accommodate students’ needs by working as a team with the parents and guardians. we will also consider the experience of all students within the class when addressing these situations.

Payments & Make-Ups

Payments for Recurring Weekly Classes
(September - June)

OUR weekly kids, tweens, Teens and Mommy & Me class start dates & closures generally follow the public school schedule between September and June. We offer weekly classes at a monthly fee, which covers 4 weekly classes (intended to be taken consecutively) with each class running for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Missed classes or classes skipped due to studio closures can be made-up during the next available class. Renewal of the monthly fee occurs only once the prior monthly fee (4 classes) has been completely used and the student attends a following class. Unused classes at the end of June do not carry forward to the following school year in September nor can they be applied to the Summer Program or other Workshop and programs. Payments are non-refundable and prices are subject to change.

New students are able to join at any time during the month. There is no supply fee as we’ve factored the cost of art supplies into the monthly fee. We offer trials for purchase before committing to a full month (4 classes). Options are available for additional classes per week and we offer a discount for siblings.

During school breaks (i.e. Winter, Mid-Winter & Spring Break), regular classes are paused and will resume after the break. During this time, we hold workshops and programs at the studio, which are not covered by the monthly fee. No pricing adjustment is made for months with either 3 or 5 classes resulting from how the calendar naturally falls around weekdays and school closures. Classes skipped due to school breaks can be made up at the next available class in line with our policy above.

Payments for Summer Program
(July - August)

Summer packages can only be used on summer half-day classes and there are no full day options. Unused classes do not transfer to the weekly classes during the school year, nor can they be used during a following summer program. All packages expire at the end of The summer Program and No adjustments or refunds are made for unused classes. All classes must be scheduled via the website’s summer program page by 12pm the day before class.

Closures

Scheduled studio Closures can be found on at the bottom of our Closures Page. Any unscheduled class cancellations due to weather or other unforeseen matters will be emailed in advance of class. All Purchased classes will carry forward to the following week or be held as a credit for future use. We can offer refunds for cancellations when the studio cannot reschedule a class or the student cannot attended a rescheduled class.

Other Misc Policies

Parents/Guardians are responsible for child drop-off/pick-up at the start and end of scheduled classes, and notification of early drop-off or late pick-up must be provided to the Studio staff. Photo and video MAY BE TAKEN FOR advertising and social media purposes without compensation and prior notice. Artwork left behind will be recycled if not picked up after 3 months.
