Fine Art

Drawing Foundations: Observational Drawing (Beginners & Up)

Thursdays, September 10th - 24th from 6:30-8:30pm

During this 3-week program, students will build observational drawing skills by learning to see shapes, proportions, and value more accurately. Through a series of guided exercises, you'll develop an understanding of how light and shadow create the illusion of form, helping you translate what you see into more realistic, three-dimensional drawings.

 

Fabric Appliqué (Beginners & Up)

Thursdays, October 1st - 15th from 6:30-8:30pm

During this 3-week program, discover the creative possibilities of fabric appliqué - a versatile sewing technique that transforms layers of fabric into colorful designs, patterns, and images. Through guided projects, you'll learn how to cut, layer, and attach fabric pieces while exploring techniques that add texture, dimension, and personality to your work.

 

Watercolor Foundations: Still Life (Beginners & Up)

Thursdays, October 29th - November 12th from 6:30-8:30pm

During this 3-week series, students will learn the basic rules, techniques and principles of watercolor, including painting from light to dark, preserving the white of the paper, and using glazing and washes to convey 3D objects. The goal of this class is to help you develop confidence in watercolor painting and give you the tools and skills to continue painting on your own.

Our guided Pottery Program introduces students to the fundamentals of ceramics through wheel throwing and hand-building. Students will build confidence while working with clay and exploring both functional and sculptural forms in a hands-on, process-driven environment. This class is designed for both beginners getting started with pottery and returning students looking to continue developing their skills through new guided projects and techniques introduced in each series. One-Time Workshops are available to try us out before committing to a multi-week series, or to simply enjoy a creative night out!

Students will learn to use a sewing machine while building practical sewing skills through a variety of guided projects. Along the way, you'll explore techniques such as garment construction, zippers, buttons, trims, and other finishing details, creating projects that are both functional and uniquely your own. Whether you're sewing for the first time or looking to expand your existing skills, this class is designed to meet you where you are. Beginners will build a strong foundation with guided instruction, while returning and intermediate students continue developing their skills through new projects, techniques, and increasing independence.


 

Mosaics

Mosaics: Pizza Coasters (Beginners & Up)

Thursday, October 22nd from 6:30-8:30pm (1 class)

During this class, students will learn basic mosaic techniques and create 4 mosaic pizza coasters! It consists of learning about mosaics, the basic materials, tools and adhesives. Learning how to cut and nip tiles into different shapes to create your own designs.

 

Mosaics: Pumpkins (Beginners & Up)

Thursday, November 19th from 6:30-8:30pm (1 class)

During this class, students will learn basic mosaic techniques and create a mosaic pumpkin wall hanging! It consists of learning about mosaics, the basic materials, tools and adhesives. Learning how to cut and nip tiles into different shapes to create your own designs.
