Adult Oil Painting

Carve out some time to reconnect with your creative self through the rich, versatile medium of oil painting. In a warm and encouraging environment, students will learn approachable oil painting techniques, color mixing and the importance of value as they build a composition from start to finish. This class is designed to help you relax, explore a new skill, and bring your personal vision to life.

New students will start with our Beginner Series classes, where they will learn the fundamentals of oil painting and complete a painting from start to finish. This series can be taken multiple times using different subject matter as students hone their skills before advancing to the guided studio class. Our Guided Studio classes are designed for students that are ready to advance to the next stage. This is a guided class where students will select their own subject and work through the painting process with hands-on guidance from our oil painting teacher. Both class types run simultaneously.
