Comics & Storytelling Program:
Superheros (Ages 9-12)

Sundays from 12:30-2PM
(6-Class Series)

Dec 13th - Jan 31st (skips 12/27 & 1/3)

Students will explore the art of comic creation by developing original superhero characters and stories, drawing inspiration from the visual styles of classic American comic artists such as Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. Students will learn character design, story development, storyboarding, sketching, and inking while exploring what makes a compelling hero, from unique powers and personalities to original worlds and challenges. Each student will walk away with a collection of comic book panels that tell a story with striking visuals and have the opportunity to share their story with the group.
