Tween General Art
Ages 9-12
In this class, tween artists explore painting, sculpture, drawing, and mixed media while building technical skills and developing their own creative voice. Each project introduces new techniques while learning about inspiring artists, cultures, and the historical context that shaped them, helping students understand how art is made and why it matters.
As students gain confidence, they’re encouraged to take creative risks, experiment with different styles and materials, and make more intentional choices in their work. With supportive guidance and room for independence, each artist develops a stronger sense of direction, identity, and pride in what they create.
Classes meet once per week. Enrollment is ongoing and students can join at any time!

Tween & Teen Drawing
Ages 9-16
In this class, tweens and teens build strong drawing skills while exploring techniques like perspective, shading, proportion, composition, and line work. Each project introduces new concepts while learning about influential artists, artistic styles, and the historical context that shaped them, helping students understand how drawing is used to communicate ideas, observations, and stories.
As students gain confidence, they start making more intentional choices, experimenting with different approaches, and developing their own artistic style. While the primary focus is drawing, some projects incorporate additional materials and mixed media to expand creative possibilities.
Classes meet once per week. Enrollment is ongoing and students can join at any time!
