Students will learn basic mosaic techniques and use those techniques to form a mosaic around an 8” x 10” picture frame. This program requires little to no prior experience. It consists of 2 sessions (2 hours each) and will cover the following:

-Learn about the history of mosaic, the basic materials, tools and adhesives.

-Learn how to cut and nip tiles into different shapes to create your own design.

-Learn basic designs, planning and color combinations for your work.

Students will glue and create their mosaic frame over the two sessions. The final products will be grouted at the studio and students will be called when the frames are ready for pickup.
