During this 3-week program, students will learn basic mosaic techniques and create a standing mosaic cactus sculpture! This class requires little or no prior experience. It consists of 3 sessions (2 hours each) and will cover the following:

-Learn about mosaic, the basic materials, tools and adhesives.
-Learn how to build out your design for your sculpture.
-Learn how to cut and nip tiles into different shapes to create your own designs.

Students will glue and create their mosaic during this class and mosaics will be grouted by the students during the final class. If time permits, students may also mosaic their pots.
