Join us for a family-friendly reception for Wildlings of New York, a series of art celebrating wildlife neighbors! The Wildlife Center of Long Island will be on site with LIVE ambassador animals!
Guests of all ages will be guided by wildlife artist, Meghan Taylor, to sketch the animals as we learn more about our native wildlife. All materials are included.
Note: Please purchase 1 per guest. The animals can be sensitive to loud noises, so we kindly ask to remind younger guests to maintain a lower voice volume.
Exhibition Description:
Wildlings of New York is a body of work by artist Meghan Taylor that celebrates the wild animals and plants living alongside us in New York State. Through detailed paintings and drawings, Taylor brings attention to foxes, birds, insects, and other often-overlooked neighbors, inviting viewers to slow down and notice the wondrous lives unfolding just beyond our doorsteps. The exhibition blends natural history, observation, and empathy, highlighting the beauty and complexity of local wildlife in a human-dominated landscape.
