Intro to Sewing
New to sewing? Got a machine as a gift and want to learn how to use it? Don’t have a machine, but interested in starting up? This is the perfect beginner’s class for you! Learn the basic functionality of the sewing machine, sewing basics like cutting fabric, pinning, and seam finishes, and complete this project over two classes to build your skills and confidence. If you don’t have a machine, you can reserve one within the registration form upon adding this class to your cart. All materials are included.

2-Week Project: Comfy Bottoms with Pockets
Summer is here and it's the perfect time to revamp your summer loungewear outfits. This 2-week series will cover how to make a comfy bottom with pockets, perfect for at home or outdoors!  Students will learn how they can tweak the patterns to their liking and own taste. Fabric will be provided, but if students are interested in purchasing their own for their projects, we recommend the following in woven: crinkle cotton or rayon, cotton or rayon gauze, cotton chambray, cotton or rayon slub, cotton or rayon poplin, seersucker, and lightweight linen.

To get the most out of this experience, pair this class with the “Intro to Sewing: Summer Short Sleeve Drop Shoulder Top”, which runs on Tuesdays, July 9th & July 16th from 6:30PM-8PM (2 classes).

Due to our Fashion Teacher’s limited availability we are unable to provide make-up classes for missed classes. Additionally, due to the small class size (8 students), we will not be able to accommodate any credits for missed classes nor will we be able to provide refunds once classes begin. Please ensure you are able to commit to the class dates and times prior to purchasing.
