In this 2-week program, students will learn basic mosaic techniques and create a circular mosaic wall hanging. This program requires little or no prior experience. It consists of 2 sessions (2 hours each) and will cover the following:

-Learn about the history of mosaic, the basic materials, tools and adhesives.

-Learn how to cut and nip tiles into different shapes to create your own design.

-Learn basic designs, planning and color combinations for your work.

Students will glue and create their circular mosaic over the two week program. They will be grouted at the studio and students will be called when they are ready for pickup. The final project is a 12” wood circle.
