Digital Art: Storytelling Illustrations in Procreate (6 Classes)

$255.00

Class Description:
Tweens and teens will illustrate a narrative moment through digital painting in Procreate. Students begin with brainstorming a character and their motivations during a pivotal story point. Students gather reference imagery and create thumbnail sketches to bring clarity to their vision. Students will select their strongest sketches to move forward, and work towards rendering their illustrations with characters and background as they deliver their final artwork as a key frame.

As students progress through their projects, we will explore how storytelling is used for art in animation, video games, and literature.

Students will be grouped by age and skill level, allowing beginners to build confidence with digital art tools while returning and intermediate artists continue expanding their design skills. Along the way, they'll experiment with different ideas, develop their own creative style, and bring original characters to life through each stage of the design process.

This program is designed for students ages 9-16.
